If I’m not mistaken this requires a local phone number to receive a confirmation code. Maybe I’m just low on blood sugar, but this seems like an obstacle to me.

i have wasted 45 min and no food was delivered after accepting my order and taking money from my card and at the end they called to say sorry and to inform me that the money will be refunded after 3 days. Customer services they are saying sorry also. I believe this app needs a rebranding instead of food delivery it should be sorry delivery. Your sorry was tasty and juicy you really ruined my day because i order 3 am and after receiving your sorry which was fresh and hot major restaurants closed.

Entering the app asks for update appstore only has open app nothing to update, can’t cancel membership

Orders always take longer than indicated. Multiple times after an order was placed they waited and then canceled my order. My most recent one they told me it was 15-30 delivery and then after an hour they called me to tell me they canceled the order because now the restaurant was closed.

These scammers fake restaurant reviews on their app to increase business. The restaurants that have 4.5 stars on this scam app usually have something around 2.5 stars on Google.

Late delivery one night and spilled the other, and they wouldn’t even credit me!

This app is so ridiculously bad. It doesn’t send the verification code to make an account until 30 years later, and then when you are about to pay, it doesn’t even let you pay to make ur delivery order. I hate this app.

I can’t enter the app it says I need to update but I already did so I deleted and reinstalled it but it’s still the same problem . I hope someone can fix this issue.

Can’t open app. Keeps saying I need to update

Customer service is the worst. Missing items, wrong items, never been solved. Never using it again.

Downloaded the app and wanted to use it. However its asking me to update it when there is no update. Very disappointing.

I’ve ordered from Deliveroo a few times with no issues, but on my fifth order—a coffee and a salad—I got a notification that my food was arriving, so I went outside to wait. As I was messaging the driver to ask where he was, the order suddenly came through as “delivered.” I never got my food, and I spent an hour messaging customer support, but they kept saying that since I provided the code to the driver, they wouldn’t compensate me. Except I never saw the driver, never gave a code, and never got my order. What’s even more concerning is that somehow the driver managed to enter my code, which makes me think they reuse the same codes for multiple deliveries. Otherwise, how would he have guessed it? Then again, I guess it wasn’t that hard—it was literally just “12.” The support team was rude and completely unhelpful. If you actually want to get your food, just use Uber Eats—I’ve ordered from them hundreds of times and never had an issue or been treated like that.

Been using it for a few years now, I love it. It works good. My only complaint is that you can’t see what the food always looks like when you’re trying a new place. Other than that, fantastic app!

As a company, Deliveroo will just find any possible way to scam their users. So be aware and use the app when you have no other possibility.
